Software I'm using
Before the journey begins I've done a bit of research and while there are online Python platforms that would allow you to start writing, use and test your code, we are probably better off with some software to start with.
I've got no affiliation with any and as much as I'd like to say that they have paid me to use a theirs, I don't think a blog post with a few views is going to draw them in so for now I've just chosen one, and will continue with that until a better offer comes around. Feel free to suggest alternatives and I'll give them a go but for now I'll be using the Python application version 3.10.5 downloaded from https://www.python.org/ They do have an online version but I may not always have internet access when I'm learning so I'll use the application for now.
